Frequent Asked Questions
This is my most asked question - I work out of my own workshop in home. For privacy reasons I do not put my home address on the site but I will gladly meet with you to drop your equipment off or come pick it up from you! I service and am willing to travel to the Greater Cleveland area for free, further out will incur a fee depending on travel. PLEASE NOTE: We are NOT Pro Video and Photo in Parma.
Every job is different and every camera is different. I offer a flat $49.99 diagnostics fee to review the equipment and see what issues you could be having. Once I identify the problem, I will quote you on a repair that will include the price of the diagnostics rolled in! If you're curious about how much your repair or cleaning may cost, please reach out to me directly!
Depending on the severity of the issue, 24 hours to one business week. A basic diagnostic can usually be assessed same day as drop off. Cleaning is usually 24-48 hours depending on how busy. If the camera or lens needs to be fully disassembled, turnaround is anywhere from 48 hours to 7 business days. I should be able to give you a general idea once we have an over-the-phone consultation about why you're reaching out.
Unfortunately due to the nature of this work, I do not offer refunds. If I can complete the requested service, I will have you verify on pick-up or drop-off that the equipment is in working condition. If I cannot complete the requested service, I will return it to you with no charge besides the diagnostics fee, or offer to send it directly to your manufacturer for you.
